Although popular among celebrities, the Apple Watch still hasn’t turned out to be a runaway hit with regular consumers like the iPhone. Nevertheless, there’s been a great deal of interest around when the next version will be released, and now we have a clue. A new report claims that the current version of the Apple Watch will be refreshed with new bands in March and get an entirely new case design in the fall.

No rumors have surfaced regarding what the new casing will look like, but with the increased smartwatch competition in the market, it’s likely that Apple Watch 2.0 will present a significant alternative design now that Apple has had more time to assess the market reaction to the first Apple Watch.
Along with the update to the Apple Watch, a new, smaller version of the iPhone is also expected to be revealed sometime in March.
